This arrived today. I have sold a couple of lenses to cover all the paper, mounts etc that I need to make an ARPS panel submission, so I wanted something to tide me over until I decide what longer lens(es) to get for Sony in future. I have an OM2 to use this on as well.

Waiting for the truck to arrive with a TTArtisan 25/2 for Fuji. I picked up a screw-in hood and pinch cap at the same time. All for less than £100, I’m hoping that it is “good enough” for general walk-around at street level, to compliment the Laowa 9/2.8 which is mainly for architecture.

K&F are now selling individual UV filters (with the lens cap). Just picked one up from Amazon, so finally I have the sorted for my three wide angle lenses

Been using these for a while, but the only annoying thing was not being able to buy a “base” UV filter other than as part of a pack. They have just fixed that, so I can kit my main wide angle lenses to all be ready to take magnetic ND or Polariser filters 😀

Just picked up 3 Godox MF-CB adaptors which will allow me to use Godox magnetic attachments on my MF-12 macro flash units. Also ordered a 3rd diffusion dome, to go with the two Godox accessory kits I already have. Hopefully this will give me more diffused macro lighting now.

I will be interested to see how that compares to the 100-400 for you. I traded in my 100-400 because it was too much lens for my needs and I have wondered if I would get on better with the 70-309.

That was the thinking that led to me selling my copy, just didn’t use it enough and when I did use it my lack of practise showed. I might look to get a 70-300 if I see one cheap enough whilst I am in funds.
