My Pioneer SA1000 amplifier has just turned 50 y.o. So have my Tannoy 15" Monitor Gold speakers. Both still perform beautifully, better than my ears do (hearing aids). My E-M1 MkII still takes beautiful photos, nearly 8 years on, as do my collection of lenses for it and my E-M1 MkI and E-PM2...

Yeah, Irene, I've also noticed that the cracking sharpness I can see on local images usually gets a bit lost after upload too. It's possibly why some people chronically over-sharpen their images for display here, and elsewhere.

Have you left it (the E-PL2) for a couple of days or a week with a fully charged battery in it, Randy? This sometimes recharges the internal power source enough to hold the date and time.

Andrew, these days, I almost always travel by car, so carrying 3 kits on the back seat is hardly a problem. My good lady wife is reconnecting with ILCs, using my E-M1 MkI + 12-50 macro and 40-150R.

Agree with your above reasoning, Andrew. Personally, I find that my 12-100 rarely leaves my E-M1 MkII. With (relatively) modern sensors and modern PP software, f/4 is perfectly usable. Combined with an f/1.8 prime of choice for dark times. I also take my 8-25, f/1.8 25 and 75-300 MkII. Or...
