Hmm are you quite sure your sources are perfectly reliable?
You do realise that almost every link you click is "recorded" in some way whatever browser or online app you are using?
If you have google accounts, or facebook, or a zillion other things, your activities online are being tracked...
Browser access is not a good alternative for me on my device.
Generally when you float ideas in this way Amin it means you've already made up your mind.
If you drop tapatalk support, my use of the site will drop to almost zero.
I've no idea what LTE is.
The forum has a world-wide membership so if that's your 'phone or your local carrier, any problems may be particular to you or your carrier.
I always have slow access to the forum over slow G3 connections, and it's always fine over fast G4, and it's always fine on my...
I'm not seeing any Amazon ads but then I use Opera and maybe I've got the content blocker engaged.
However, whatI am seeing is that if I click the "Recent Activity" link on the front page I get Photographers' Lounge - Error
You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.
I can't help wondering what the point of the "Members" menu is, with its plethora of rankings and points for individual members.
I do realise it can be seen as just a bit of fun, but it does tend to indicate a "hierarchy" of membership in which some of us are "notable" and others not.
One of...
I was a bit surprised to wake up to this without warning, I thought it was a 2016 project?
here also - keeps returning "incorrect password"
Also it's painfully slow in Opera under Linux
Are there plans to provide user-selectable skins? This colour scheme doesn't really do it for me. Or is...
neat as you like, I must try it!
I tend to forget about app technology, and based my remarks on having tried a couple of years ago with a scanner. Dangerous of course as tech change in areas like apps/phones is so fast at the moment.
Yes it's perfectly possible to scan a photo of text or indeed convert a photo of text and run it through ocr, because I've done it ... But boy what a palaver the latter is, let alone finding software in English to render pictograms ... Much easier to find a friendly bod who'll translate!
I know...
Back to normal for me too.
Only one cookie at the moment. that might have been a red herring but thought wroth mentioning. some sites leave one cookie, some two, some more. I'd always noticed TPL laves two, one just name for the domain one with the www
fwiw, my cookie manager only shows one cookie (photographerslounge.org) rather than the usual two (www.photographerslounge.org usually appears as well)
"need" is a bit tricky, isn't it?
There are all sorts of options that make a site fit easily with an individual user and makes it simple and straightforward for them to navigate.
Someone will always be dissatisfied with how the site works, while others will always say it is unimprovably...
I just read a review of the newly-published journals of Laura Ingalls Wilder, and the moment I read that she had been in Wisconsin, I immediately formed an image in my mind's eye - which I cannot now shift - of you in a bonnet ...
in the view given using Cameraderie there is no "menu" line; so if I watn to mark all read or go directly to image therads or whatever else, I first have to come back to one of the other views.
Doesn't appear if you go to "images" either btw
bit irritating
As it's functionally identical I really don't see the problem, apart from old farts like me who loathe and despise anything including terminology connected with this so-called social media phenomenon.
when the antisocial media phenomenon takes flight, mind you, I'll be right in the vanguard ...
Amin 'm seeing some difficult responses from the site since the downtime. My browser is making many many more calls to various adservers, everything is very slow and when I use the back- and forward- buttons on my browser It's sometimes taking several clicks to get anywhere. This isn't happening...
I have the black on grey on all my puters and i find it the most restful and easy to read with plenty of contrast, so maybe it's something to do with your monitor settings?
