Hi I bought one about a month ago used. Sure not the latest and greatest but I love the viewfinder. I have an XE2 and the difference is quite extraordinary, the viewfinder, battery life (3 times more at least) and I've paired it with an 18-135mm (bought from Mexico - great supplier great deal)...

Nice shot! I use Nikon glass on my XE2 & XT1. 35,50 & 104 Ai 24 AFD. The 35 and 105 are my two faves. I also use Konica Hexanon 50 1.7 and 135 3.5. I love the IQ and the feel of the lenses. The photo is 105mm Ai'd on XE2 at, I think, f8.

No correction here as I've never used a Voigtlander lens but my Nikon Ai 35mm f2.8 in particular is sweet to focus as are the 105mm Ai and the 24mm D - the 35mm is brilliant with my XE2 fantastic image quality it just works. The 105 is a close 2nd both really sharp. Just sharing my experience...

I'd keep your adaptive lenses unless you really need the cash. They are fun to use as you know. I've had mixed results - the three I love the best and produce pretty fine results are a 35mm F2.8 Ai Nikon, a 105mm F2.5 Ai Nikon and a 50mm F1.7 Konica Hexanon. Right now I am not in a position to...

Hi I use an XE2 with Nikon & Konica Hexanon non AF lenses. Works well with the EVF & focus peaking. If I were you I'd go for wither XE2/2S, XT1, XT10/20 depends on your body style preference. Just my view. Food for thought.

Hi if you want alternatives you can look at Konica Hexanon lenses. Jupiter 9 85mm. KMZ Jupiter 11A 135mm. Meyer Optik. Pentacon. Helios. The Nikon 200mm non A/F lens gets great reviews and is really inexpensive. I use Hexanon 50mm F1.7 and 135mm. Also Nikon A1 F2.5 105mm and Ai 35mm F2.8...

Here's a photo I took yesterday near where I live. F5.6 ISO400 1/950. I am amazed at the quality of both the lens and the camera. The lens must be 40 years old. Cost $95 at KEH plus $25 for Ai conversion. In mint condition.

For me the ideal lens would be the 18-135mm. It would give me everything I want. Currently saving up for one. I use the 16-50 a lot. I love it. Plus various manual focus Nikon lenses from 24 to 105mm and 70 - 300mm old zoom plus Konica Hexanon 50mm and 135mm.

I use 50mm Konica Hexanon F1.7, Nikon Ai 35mm F2.8 & 105mm F2.5 on my XE2 love these old lenses. Here's one with the Nikon Ai 35mm and the other with the 50mm Hexanon. Love your photos too - the atmosphere, bokeh and colours.

I've just installed it and will be using it in much the same way as you. I'd hoped to be able to try it as a LR replacement but lens correction is not coming to next year. Some very good examples for me. Thanks for putting this together.

Hi there, My home town Bristol. Great shots. I'm considering buying an XE1 plus 18mm for people shots - what do you use. I'm looking for something less obtrusive for people photos. Any advise would be appreciated. I use Nikon for landscape / wildlife / sport. Based in Central America now.
