Fuji Let's start talking about the X-Pro 3

Life would be incredibly tedious if all cameras looked like an EOS-1. God forbid!

Fuji Let's start talking about the X-Pro 3

Bobby, I think you maybe right. But it may also have come too late as all my Fujifilm stuff went to PX nearly a year ago in favour of Lumix equipment cameras and lenses, which are at least equal if not superior to Fujifilm kit, itā€™s probably true that case for case there will be variation of...

Fuji Let's start talking about the X-Pro 3

Bill, I agree each to his own, the rear panel and the drop down LCD is enough for me to walk away. Where I was in the show the rear panel(not backlit) was unreadable. And the LCD might give problems when using a tripod, I have no way of knowing but the security equipment at the show prevented...

Fuji Let's start talking about the X-Pro 3

Bill, at the CameraWorld show I had a little fondle, that back panel is only going to be any good in certain light conditions, useless. Plus the flip down LCD is bloody awful, although the image seemed to be good! I just donā€™t understand some design choices made by manufacturers of almost any...

Fuji Let's start talking about the X-Pro 3

Sadly Luke, there is an ineradicable flaw in my character that dictates that I just have to upgrade to the latest all singing all dancing model of my chosen brand the moment itā€™s released.:doh::flowers_2:

Fuji Let's start talking about the X-Pro 3

Bill of course you have, I think the rear LCD screen is a disaster. Canā€™t imagine why Fuji did that!
  9. Mike G

Fuji Still doubting the Fuji durability? Then read this

Doesnā€™t say why Fujifilm cameras freeze and or reset themselves, quite frequently!

    Fuji Wet Fuji Lenses

Garry & Richard, I honestly donā€™t think Iā€™m being scammed. The dealer gains nothing from reporting moisture in my lenses, indeed they have upped the offer after any repairs, I canā€™t see what WEX has to gain by their actions! They have detected moisture in some of the lenses but not all. The...

    Fuji Wet Fuji Lenses

No it was WEX a respected U.K. dealer, they will honour their quotes once the repairs are done, so Iā€™m not of the opinion that Iā€™m being cheated. And in fact they have upped their quotes for after repair, they will organise the repairs! Richard never heard of ā€œWe-buy-any-lens.comā€ I have dealt...

    Fuji Wet Fuji Lenses

Recently I sent for sale four Fujinon lenses to a reputable online dealer, a 16mm 1.4, 23mm 1.4, 56mm 1.2 and a 18-55mm. Today I was told by the dealer after inspection that the 16mm was OK and I was given an extra Ā£20. However the 23mm and the 56mm apparently show moisture inside those lenses...

    Fuji My X-Pro2 Review

I think Adam you are spot on thinking that almost any modern/new camera will give acceptable results! So it comes down to nuances of feel and design that will be what will make your mind up!

Merlin, did you trade in your old X-T1?
  21. Mike G

    Fuji X-H1 IBIS and 16/1.4?

Andy, the whole purpose of IBIS is to allow handheld shots at slow shutter speeds. With an IBIS equipped camera I would very much think it possible to handhold at 1/30! And of course the expertise of the shooter also comes into play! The 23mm and the 35mm both 1.4 work well and IBIS is not...

    Fuji Impressions of the G9

A large step forward, much better clarity and detail. Better even than the X-H1, and more options for viewing! + 120 FPS to boot.

    Fuji Impressions of the G9

Panasonic Lumix G9 + Leica 12-60 f2.8-4 First impressions The camera body is a mixture of buttons and control dials which operate very smoothly. And as you will understand there is a learning curve to travel. Bashing through the manuals and the camera menus, so far Iā€™m liking the menu system...

Fuji Not sure if I can call this a portrait?

Andrew, the X-H1 I see as an evolution of the X-T2 with all round improvements, slicker, faster, improved resolution of the VF, better handling. Only a couple of drawbacks so far but not bigguns weight, normal mode screen slow down after too short a time and of course the price to buy. I canā€™t...

    Fuji My X-Pro2 Review

    Fuji My X-Pro2 Review

Quite a contrast ainā€™t there! Generally I prefer your 2018 edits! I have just gone through a similar reprocess some photos from using Velvia to reprocess to using Provia, too much saturation with Velvia! Nice story, well done!

Fuji Another biggun about to leave!

Dave, way too big for me, my little river cruise ship had 98 passengers, intimate enough to get to know most of them quite quickly!
