    Fuji Fuji XF 70-300

And the bad thing about it is my Full frame kit is lighter than the Apsc kit. Oh well apples to oranges , the Z6 is a different dog. If I'm going to shoot sports I better be in shape.:2thumbs:

    Fuji Fuji XF 70-300

I have dropped the ball on this one. I was ready to buy this thing and then a D500 waked into my life. Three lenses later I barely knew what hit me. :dash2:

    Fuji Fuji XF 70-300

It does work with converters and it is in my cart at B&H. I'm going to give it a go on the XT3 with a 1.4.

    Fuji Viltrox 56mm F1.4

Very nice and objective write up. I have looked at this lens for a while and believe this will be my next purchase. You're picture shows what I have seen in others shot around the web. I agree the competition is tough as the 56 fuji is untouched in image quality, but this lens is close enough...

My first and only Granddaughter Haylee is soon to be a photographer with her Granddaddy and Mom. Thank god Shelby broke down and had a girl. My two daughters were on a three boy run and Granddad was getting older by the baby. I snapped this pic yesterday at 4 mo old. She won't get spoiled much...

Fuji Recent Thoughts on the XE3

Well I joined the club + the 15-45 for a bicycle and walking around kit. I also have the Roki 12 and may have to spring for a 27. Just seems like it needs one lol.

Fuji Goodbye to Primes I guess

Gearing up for the Fall Classic in November and Sebring in March, I am going to have to embrace the Zooms. 16-55 and 50-140. The 50-140 I'm good with, the 16-55 may take some time to get friendly. I'll keep the 18-55 for a walk around and the 16 1.4 just because.

Fuji Thoughts on the Fuji 60mm f/2.4 Macro?

I tried one and found it to be interesting . Terrible auto focus in low light, but buttery bokeh. I wont say 56 smooth, which I eventually bought, but portrait worthy for sure. What killed it for me was it would hunt and hunt forever sometimes and then just give up.

    Fuji Filled my last gap

I agree with the 18-55 being a great lens. At least 75% of my shots are using it and I think it's just as sharp as the 23 at 23. It's just a stop or so slower. The 55-200 is s great zoom also although I'm still looking for a 50-140 for low light. That's a great kit you have going there. All the...

    Fuji Maybe another XT1?

While I try very hard to Keep My ISO low, sometime in action and at night it is impossible. Since that is my preferred type of photography It is a necessary evil which I deal with.

    Fuji Maybe another XT1?

Don't mean to stir up a fuss guys, but this topic usually does, I think Xt1 files have a different look to them which pleases my eye. It will never be an action camera as the 3 is, but I have shot it up to 12,600 which cleaned up pretty well. I just don't want to work that hard anymore. As time...

    Fuji Maybe another XT1?

Yeah I rarely go over 3200 but then I had a D200 I didn't push past 400. The T3 is a far superior camera but I disagree about buttons and controls. The T1 just feels handy. No doubt which is the best machine but the same argument applies in Nikons. the Df and D4's even D3's are low light kings...

    Fuji Maybe another XT1?

I have the T3 and the T1. ISO limit was at 3200 . Just an observation from pics of my kids. I won't be selling my T3 anytime soon but there is a difference that appears smoother to me. The T3 is a 26 mp which to my eye has not been sorted out yet. I'm sure improvements are coming, or i may just...

    Fuji Maybe another XT1?

Thinking about this. I have the Xt3 and will see what the upgrade brings in April but I keep going back to the very clean XT1 files and thinking, wow these look better. The Xt3 does bring better autofocus, but it gets a little noisey if you lean on it.

@gryphon1911 Well Snap. You say that Tamron's pretty sharp huh. D500?
  31. Tim Williams

Fuji Panning and zooms with OIS ( 50-140 )

"Answer I got on FM forums. The only answer I got on FM." The 100-400 detects horizontal panning and switches to vertical only stabilization. The 50-140 does not specifically have that auto detection feature. Since there is no vertical versus horizontal IS setting available in the camera you...

Fuji Panning and zooms with OIS ( 50-140 )

On a tripod I always turn OIS off. My question is in fast action panning like the racing photos I recently posted , would you leave OIS on or turn it off? I intend to do some things differently on this next shoot. Raise my ISO to 6400 and my SS slightly. I still want the background blur but the...

    Fuji 18-55 vs 16-55

While I will concede the 16-55 is better in certain areas for me this reaffirms what I have learned. The 18-55 is fantastic as a zoom. Good enough for me.. https://fstoppers.com/originals/fstoppers-compares-fujifilm-xf-18-55mm-f28-4-and-xf-16-55mm-f28-334622

Been working 6 days a week for 3 weeks so trying to catch up on completing the kit and the last hole got filled I think.Waiting delivery of a 56 f1.2 from FM forums member.
