I received mine a couple of days ago, not much chance to shoot with it so far but looks sharp.

Oh yes, my old Minolta A-mount lenses did a lot of grinding and buzzing too. I had no real issues with the image quality of the 27, I mostly wasn't so fond of the focal length.

I got rid of my 18/2 and 27/2.8 partly because of how loud they were to focus. I will only tolerate it on my 35/1.4 :D

I picked up a new X-Pro3 in Dura silver a couple of weeks back, for barely more than the price of the painted black version. I absolutely love this camera. My 35/1.4 is glued to it for the moment. It’s a big step up from my X-E3 that it replaces.

I believe this only works on cameras that support tethering. I do agree it’s annoying.

I must confess it's currently sitting on the mantelpiece in the living room. :cool:

Six weeks of waiting, but my TP leather half-case finally arrived, curiously via German post. Nice matching hand strap provided as a free gift. This will be my fourth TP case (having put one on each of my X-E 1, 2, & 3 cameras), nicely made without the price tag of other brands.

Sorry to hear it didn’t work out for you. I’m glad now that I ordered another product while I was waiting for the ES protectors. I’ll keep hold of them as backups.

I have the silver. I was very tempted by the dark green case, but the darker brown is a little more classic. If I'd bought the black I'd have gone the same with the case, as I did with my black X-E3.

I ordered a TP half case in brown on Amazon today. Mine ships from China, and will probably be about a month away. There’s a US seller though BolinUS (they don’t do intl shipping to my location).

The TP cases I’ve bought previously have had solid bases as well - which has the benefit of adding a bit of depth to the grip.

The size is different according to someone on another forum who bought an F protector. I’m waiting on an Expert Shield protector coming from the US, and an upScreen glass protector from the UK just to cover my bases!

Yes, I’ve had two never-ready cases with two second hand X100s (S & T). I won’t be buying the official one, especially as it’s $200 in my money. I’ve bought TP branded cases off eBay for three X-E cameras and they’ve been great.

I’m still waiting for a screen protector. I’ll pick up a third party half case when they start becoming available.

My silver X100V has arrived at the camera store. I won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow though...

I’ve got my eye on a second hand WCL-X100 II, but still in two minds. 28mm eqv isn’t my favourite focal length (I have an 18/2 that sits unused) and I have an iPhone that covers it - in reasonable light at least.

My 23/2 will go, though I’ll keep my X-E3. I have too many lenses I don’t use, so will possibly have a clear out.

Some nice first images there. I've been very happy with my 23/2, and glad Fujifilm provided that focal length as an option more in line with my budget (mine was in fact second hand, so virtually a steal). I hope to pick up the 50/2 as my next lens purchase.

Great set of images. I love Melbourne, but generally only ever there for short work trips.

As a tiny minority X-E3 owner :wink: I'll do my best to post some images, I was bummed that I wasn't able to get one before my Queenstown trip. All my recent images are family photos, which I'm not big on sharing.

I'd progressed from the X-E1 to X-E2 as well. I get that the X-E3 won't be for everyone — personally I have no interest in the X-T bodies, and the X-Pro 2 is about $1000 more camera than I can justifiably afford. For me, the four swipe gestures are better than the d-pad if only for the reason...

It's a big upgrade coming from an X-E2, despite the smaller size! I really like mine, but in the month since I've had it the weather has either been terrible, or I've been too busy with other things.
