It looks like a type of vetch Charles. The nearest I can find is kidney vetch which thrives on the coast here, but has yellow flowers.

    Nature Show "Flowers"

Yes Charles, they were just out in the garden and I could smell them from a few metres away. To be honest, I quite like the scent of them, but possibly not if they were indoors. My pet hate are the large lilies with their sickly, cloying aroma; I simply can't stand the things; though it may be...

I think this is a form of lichen but if not, I know a few of you fun-guys will let me know. They (it?) is forming on a fallen twig in the garden.

This is what is commonly known as a Money Plant or Jade Plant. My Mum's had one for over 50 years and it's never flowered. This one's a cutting off my daughter-in-law and both hers and mine are now blooming. Poor photo, sorry.

Spiders A new family member, Lucas The Jumping Spider.

I once got bitten by a spider, which could well have been one of those. I was working in a BT manhole which usually had a few residents. I felt something crawling up inside my trouser leg and then the blighter bit me. Nasty devils aren't they.

Spiders A new family member, Lucas The Jumping Spider.

He looks a real cutie and we've had a couple of tiny jumping spiders in the bathroom that both me and my wife have taken too. However, like Scott, I really have an aversion to spiders and I've just come in from our log store where I've had to battle with some real monsters. One was a whopper...

I actually inferred you got there too late for the actual sunrise. :D I'm glad to see you're out and about back on your favourite stomping ground. It's been a bit of a depressing winter so far and we've had so much mist and rain down here that I've not been shooting much at all. Here's hoping...

    Nature Show "Winter"

This is what I woke up to yesterday morning. Bedroom view north. Bedroom view south. Here on the West Wales coast, we rarely get snow, but a phenomenon our weather presenter calls "the Pembrokeshire `Dangler" delivered this for us.

    Nature Show "Flowers"

We've got quite a few dotted around the edge of our lawn which we refer to as weeds. However, I'm in the process of creating a new mini-wildflower meadow and bought a selection of seeds suitable for the area. Yup, you guessed it, ribwort plantain is one of the components. So, let's call it a...

    Nature Trees

Lovely colours there Ovi. Being on the wild Atlantic coast, we aren't well off for trees around here. What few we do have have been battered by the recent storms and have lost all of their leaves before they had a chance to change colour. 😞

    Nature Plants of all kinds

Aside from all the wonderful warm colours in autumn (fall), I delight in the grasses that appear at their best at this time of year and give a good showing right through the winter in our garden.
