Here is something you don't get a chance to shoot upclose very often. There was tree downed by recent storms along the Foothills Parkway. It happened to have a nice population of mistletoe growing in it. It's pretty interesting that the parasite grows directly out of the host branches.

I took out my new-to-me Pentax FA* 24mm for some testing. Waterfalls make a good test for a wide angle.

Same shroom two different angles and treatments.

I only had 135mm to work with, but right in the center of the frame is a mink swimming along.

I finally got around to uploading this short clip from a hike way back in July.

IMO. As illustrations they are nice. As photography, not so much. They are overprocessed to my liking.

@L0n3Gr3yW0lf If you are really interested in K1 processing @agentlossing has some really nice results over in the K1 Thread I really like what he does and am considering copying him. (Just don't let him know. ;))

I do grudingly use a preset for most images that are meant to be view on a screen. The base preset is one from Northlandscapes that I modified more to my liking. It really borders on overprocessed (IMO) unless I have the light and exposure just right in camera already. But I still use it for...
