There is something special about how product=type shots look with this camera. Black things have such... nice black tones. Confusing sentence but there is something there.
Busy Saturday, I was running around all day accomplishing a bunch of errands which we'd had to put off during the week, so all I have is a last-minute safety shot of a mint plant I bought today.
Today got a little out of hand, so this one shot I snapped from my car window waiting for a red light will have to do! I drove in to work, so I could meet some clients for a loan signing at the medical center where one of them had an appointment.
So far I've been able to make every day, which is good for me. I usually miss a few, and mostly near the beginning of the challenge, before I've made it more habitual. I'll take that.
Some day 15 shots. One or two might make it over to the street thread. My bus was pretty full this morning and I was still shaking the sleep from my gray matter, so I shot on a lunchtime walk.
That's a great shot!
I like the dive timers on dive watches, I actually use them for tracking time, be it lunch break, cooking or exercise. It's old-school and completely unnecessary, but I like the analog nature of it.
Thanks!
What do you think of the blue tint one (middle image)? I kind of like it with this profile, it adds a bit of character to the blacks I think. I'd like it if the GR would allow me to add a tiny bit of fade to the black shadows.
Okay, I'll commit: I am in with the GRIIIx, and with a couple of constraints. 1: I will photograph during the bus and/or walk portions of my commute, instead of scrolling on my phone or zoning out while listening to a podcast as is my wont. 2: I will stick to hi-contrast B&W JPEG profile. I like...
I've waffled, but I think I may join with the GRIIIx. If I do I may hold myself to an additional constraint: getting a photo during my commute, either in the morning or evening, each weekday. That would force me to get creative with the camera that I know well, and would ensure that I find the...
I experienced a combination of foot-dragging and an overfull plate, but I finally submitted my three as well! Thank you as always, David, for doing this for us.
I went through my SD card looking for days I missed posting, but it turns out my participation was pretty spotty. I generally try for and manage a better cadence and only miss a few days, but I am afraid I probably missed around a third of the month this time around. Sorry, everyone, for the...
