It's quite a sizable difference in use. Though I must warn you that the converter has some complex distortion that I find very difficult to correct in post. Also LR doesn't have a profile for it, which makes it particularly hard. Also flares like a *(^^!
Oh you'll need to be a lot more specific than that to get the most out of me! You could probably ask your wife to write to me with a tentative itinerary and I can recommend experiences/hotels etc depending on which part of the country you are visiting. I've lived/worked all over India and can...
Even though we were 15 architects on this trip, architecture was the last thing on our minds. We had all been working too hard and needed to let our hair down. Top of the agenda was food!
I missed seeing the St Mary's Cathedral, though some people from the gang did go. I went to Shigeru Ban's...
Was in Japan the last couple of weeks for our annual office outing. On the second last day of the trip managed to visit this stunning museum by Japan's most celebrated living architect, Tadao Ando. The building unfolded as a series of experiences. Truly a master at work. I reached the museum...
There are tonnes of "big dslr" forums out there. This is one of the few places where one comes to when researching how good compact cameras have gotten. I completely agree with your sentiment, but I worry that this forum not lose it's niche. Having said that, a small sub forum where I can...

Gorgeous images Nic. Like I mentioned before, would love to know how you go about approaching your edits. I dare say it seems simple to you, but I'm sure everyone could do with a few pointers.

Depends on what you're looking for I guess. To me, it was dreadfully boring to photograph. I did enjoy the flying around bits though and liked the place well enough. But photographically speaking it was a very 'flat' experience. Though I can well imagine lots of photographers really appreciating...
Went on a quick trip to Maldives over the weekend. Brought along my X100.
Had to take a seaplane from Male to an island 140kms out. Here's Male from the air.
Passed a number of atolls on the way.
Plane landed next to a small platform in the middle of the ocean.
Got picked...
Great set Julien. I remember running through Bruges in the day, was only there for a few hours while on a driving trip through Belgium. Your pictures make me wish I'd stayed the night.
