Using that kind of lens for aircraft in flight (especially on a day like that) tells me you're brave, masochistic, thrifty, a diehard old-school type...or some combination of the above! 😺 (y)
I read through this thread and a few others and decided to try Hugin for defishing this shot I took awhile back at the Old Folsom Powerhouse main switchboard:
Quick and dirty defish (since I don't really know what I'm doing anyway):
This is more abstract than minimalism. If you're of "a certain age", it may remind you of static on an analog television set...but it's actually a macro photo of aloe gel that I did something or other to (can't exactly remember what though!). Probably good for pareidolia testing 😺
This shot reminded me of one I took as soon as I got my own TTartisans 7.5mm, which does a sort of rectilinear mapping over 180 degrees. I had to try this, and it worked!

I'm younger than you (though not much), but I genuinely enjoy processing everything, then uploading images that are exactly how I like them.
On The Other Hand: I couldn't imagine keywording everything. I sort them by category or venue into subdirectories. So on days I want a turkey photo, I...
Thanks!
I use Capture One and have had the same problem with both V21 and 22. I save two files when editing; one TIFF-16 and one PNG. All the metadata is turned on identically in both export recipes, yet the PNG always loses the EXIF and the TIFF keeps it. But that hardly matters, because all...
Finally got a chance to post some aviation photos without having to dig into my archives...! Taken today in Georgetown, CA at a fly-in (apparently the theme was "primary colors" lol).
I really love gyrocopters so this was a treat!
Taken with my Tokina 11-16mm:
