I don’t shut down my Mac OS computers at night. They just go to sleep. My Windows work computer does get shut down at night but still needs to be rebooted a couple of times a week because the Microsoft Office applications stop working. This is separate from the updates that require restarts...

I use Windows 10 Pro at work and restart regularly when things start getting weird. I use Mac OS v10.13.6 and v13) at home and restart once a year whether it need it or not.

Just order one that's meant for content creators. I have one from the Latitude line at work. It's pretty powerful, has horrible battery life and literally the worst display I've ever used. We use them with a hub and multiple monitors in the office, but can take them home.

The difference is that I could license it to anyone else for any kind of use anywhere in the world. Ownership is different from licensing. I DO think the unlimited perpetual license is way more than necessary to run a forum. I'm not posting any more images to places with that type of TOS.

The terms I’ve actually read don’t claim ownership of the content. They get a perpetual non-exclusive license to use it any way they want including ways that no one has thought of yet.
