Actually I'm usually hired by the editors to illustrate the scripts they obtained already from scriptwriters. But I also did my own, both writing and drawing, as well as collaborations with friends/writers when we developed projects together to propose them to publishers.

RED, I'm also a member of FPN :-) As I draw for a living, I've been playing a lot with dip nibs and used them for years. But I love the smoothness and convenience of fountain pens, and those with vintage flexible nibs are a pleasure to use for drawing. On top of that, there's that nice feeling...

Me too, I find peaking only basically useful, to determine a range or area of focus. But I do not trust it for critical focus and always do it in magnified mode on my Nex. I could live without peaking, but not without magnification for manual focusing.

Google bought Nik and killed Snapseed; there will be no updates. There was a line in their statement about support for the existing customers, though. But it rests to be seen how keen they will be on that if they decided to dump it in the first place.
