Well done Mike! Thanks Bart for starting this challenge again. It was a tough one - who'd have thought responsibility would be a hard thing to see.

Challenge! Cameraderie Challenge #65 - Responsibility - WINNER ANNOUNCED

While visiting the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston in 2018 I came across this wet floor sign and delightful puddle in the gallery. I don't think it was an exhibit but it is really hard to tell some times with modern art. The placing of the wet floor sign in the puddle demonstrated...

Challenge! [CLOSED] Cameraderie Challenge #62: "make the commonplace singular" (Supermarkets) [RESULTS ANNOUNCED]

Thank you for hosting an interesting challenge Miguel and well done Don. Creative use of a pizza!! My "squash" are large honey dew melons. I don't know why but our local supermarkets only ever stock butternut squash so none of the exciting colours and shapes you can find elsewhere. I...

Challenge! Cameraderie Challenge #59 - Have a seat! - WINNER ANNOUNCED!

Thank you Milan, what a great challenge. I did think the cheeks had it so itā€™s a nice surprise to win. Great to see so many entries too. As for the next challenge, sadly, Iā€™m not in the best place to host it just now as a very close family member is in hospital receiving end of life care. If...

Challenge! Camaraderie Challenge #57 : "Contain Yourself"

Well done Mike! Your picture really makes me wish I could be on a road trip again. Feels so long ago since I was last on one and the way my life is just now it looks like it will be a long while until I get the freedom again to go on one. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for...

Challenge! Cameraderie Challenge #52 - "Consumerism" WINNER ANNOUNCED

I didnā€™t see it until you posted the reminder on Saturday. I liked the topic and it is apt for the time of year/impact on climate crisis, etc so it would have been an interesting one to do. Unfortunately finding any time for photography over the last few months has been difficult for me...

Challenge! Challenge #48 - Photo Essay - WINNER ANNOUNCED

Oh wow, this was a tough challenge to judge. First up is Ingall, ā€œA Day in the Lifeā€ ā€“ I like all the photographs and they work well with one another to tell your story of your day. Starting with mowing the lawn (hope not too early so as not to wake your neighbours), hanging up the laundry...

Challenge! Cameraderie Photo Challenge #47; Outside Winner announced

Thanks Don, for both the wonderful challenge and comments. I didnā€™t expect to win, thereā€™s always so many strong entries, so it was a nice surprise. Over the last year I have walked by this tree almost every day as part of my daily exercise (one of the few permitted reasons to leave my home...

Iā€™m the proud owner of four scooters. Iā€™ve not wrapped any of them around a tree and I donā€™t think Iā€™ve fallen off any of them. I donā€™t have photographs of them all but three of them are manual and one is electric. This was the first one. I canā€™t download it from Flickr so itā€™s a screenshot...

I can ride a bicycle and drive a manual transmission car but Iā€™m sure if I tried climbing on a motorbike, if it didnā€™t fall over first, Iā€™d most likely wrap it around a tree on the first bend! Iā€™m glad youā€™ve not as you take amazing photographs while on your bike. He gave you good advice.

Today we climbed Binny Craig, the 8,370th tallest peak in Scotland, LOL, I know, it's tiny. But it's in walking distance from our home. Ten miles or so through farm fields, bogs and woodland, so a nice wee stroll.

These are beautiful Milan. Thank you for sharing. Is that your family? I didnā€™t realise you spoke French. Do you speak many languages? Iā€™m in awe of anyone who can master a second language, or more. I studied French at school, then German at University but, because I am so out of...

I started off with the intention of using my Canon g7x mark ii (are my numbers and letters in the right order or even the right sensor size?) but, when looking for some old photographs in my archive to share, I ended up in Death Valley in 2018 revisiting the Panasonic gx9. I travelled a lot...

I totally agree with you Milan but to be fair, you just need a sheet of paper and a pencil to create an amazing image. You are not a mere mortal when it comes to creating art. These are fantastic shots.

    Challenge! A 'Lo-FI' A Day Challenge

My phone finally rang at 2 pm today. Not the best news, nor the worst, so somewhere in between. Not sure what that really means yet, only time will tell. Staying positive even though bumpy roads inevitably lie ahead.

All I can do this evening is watch my phone. Iā€™m waiting for news. They say no news is good news but my nerves are frazzled, just waiting. Iā€™ve been trying to distract myself from the silence by time travelling. Not in a Police box, sadly, but by scrolling through some of my old(er) snaps on...

    Challenge! A 'Lo-FI' A Day Challenge

This morning my peanut butter smothered crumpet breakfast tasted only a little better than it looked. Itā€™s not my usual yummy peanut butter. After the first bite it kind of reminded me a little bit of pac-man with a nasty skin condition but it filled the spot.

You are such an artist in the way you see, capture and present the world around you. You just make it your own. You always present a really strong body of work in these challenges. Nothing appears in isolation. But this one, it is so good. I love it. I really do.
