Thanks Pete, I love the pre-dawn light and I think the colors are stronger in the winter, but it is definitely harder to stay motivated when it is so cold.
Cold Brew Tea is also quite good, a lot less tannin, so the tea is floral and sweet without additions. Green and white teas are better than black for cold brewing.
I didn't see the orange color of the back light through the viewfinder, so I was pleasantly surprised with the orange and black Halloween drama in the shot. To be honest I didn't expect or intend much at all, we just took the dog for a walk before the rain got too heavy and I grabbed the camera...
The town in Texas is Dumas, "Home of the Ding Dong Daddys". It's in the panhandle, just north of Amarillo.

Dolce Vita - Cajun Style
Cajun boiled shrimp, crab, sausage, corn and taters, dumped in the middle of the table on butcher paper. A little butter in a styrofoam cup for dipping and a couple longnecks to wash it all down. Check out the classy plastic bib.
