It is such a joy to see the Challenge results. I missed it.

That is a wonderful photo. Perfect composition, details in the clouds, texture in the mountains, and a beam of light. It must have felt very special. I was so impressed when I saw a similar phenomenon in the Grampians.

Challenging topic! Last time I had promised myself to shoot specifically for a contest, so I will (try to) go out tomorrow to find some literal or metaphorical shiny objects/subjects.

Good point. One month is perfect for finding new photographic opportunities. 1or 2 weeks should be fine when using photos from the archives. Personally I think Challenges should include new photos -within a specific time frame - only. While it may reduce the number of entries it "challenges" us...

My entry relates to the impact/consequences of living in a Social Media Era: 10 years ago this image would not have grabbed my attention. Isn't it weird that someone just enjoying a view draws my attention? It's the price of the social media era.

I had to look twice at the article date. I was certain it was written on April 1st but it wasn't. May driving lanes for bikes, cars, trucks follow.

Whatever you define as social media in rural SW france: wine (makes people interact), towels on the beach (to rest next to each other and chat), buses, phones, paper&pen, phones, etc. Shortly, any media that is used to connect with other people. But it's not up to me to define. Perhaps I am...

A great theme. Social media users are everywhere: in the car while driving, on the bike, in the trains, crossing the street, in starbucks, etc etc it's definitely an addiction and a great topic for the challenge!
