This is a nice lens. Not quite up to the Olympus 25mm f1.2 in sharpness, but as near as dammit to matter. What's more, the OOF blur is pretty close so subject isolation is similar.

I bought this lens a few months ago as a 1/2 price special from the Aussie agent. At the time I couldn't stretch to the Panasonic 20mm f1.7. I've since picked up a 20mm and can't find any love for the 30mm.
Can anyone suggest why I should keep the 30? On m4/3 it is equiv to 60mm - perhaps it...
Slightly cropped, both taken with the 30 1.4 stopped down, lens firmware upgraded to the v03 and AF is about the same or faster than the Sony 50mm 1.8 OSS lens, which is not ideal for fast moving subjects.
