Interesting new release from TTArtisans. Similar optical design to the Carl Zeiss Biotar 75mm f/1.5. Looks to have tons of swirly bokeh if that is your thing. I do like that they are making new lenses in a universal mount like M42.
Two reviews I came across.

Hello. Spring is here and I'm having ideas of dog portraits in different areas, especially the low light ones like forest paths.
I will use my Olympus 40-150mm f 2.8 PRO for action but I would like a faster lens for static and posing moments and achieve some shallow DoF. I can get that with the...
Here are a few photographs from a couple of nights ago when I took this newly acquired lens out for the first time. I've also included 100% crops from each. All of these were shot at ISO 3200 and I processed them through DXO Pure Raw which tends to soften them ever so slightly. (Also, the...
This looks like a moderately fast lightweight 112mm equivalent lens. It says it has "5-point weather sealing" and linear autofocus. Does anyone have experience with one of these lenses?
On the M9, quick tests right out of the Box. No adjustments required, I use a 1.25x magnifier for focus.
First impressions- this lens is FAST, and compact. Much smaller than my 50/1.1 Nokton. Click stops for the aperture mechanisms. Focus very smooth after a brief workout of turning from 0.8m...

I could not resist. I will be comparing it...
7artisans 75mm f/1.25 lens for Leica M-mount specifications and sample photos - Leica Rumors
This lens looks like it's going to very good at a reasonable price. Link also has samples and they look great! 7Artisans said they will also make an FE version optimized for other mirrorless cameras...
Leica's newest portrait / near telephoto was announced today. I personally don't need that kind of speed or shallow DOF at 75mm, but it could be a great lens for those who do. And for only $13,000.

A friend of mine needed some publicity shots for her new book, so I grabbed the GX7 and the Oly 25/45/75 lenses and headed into downtown Seattle on what could easily be described as the crappiest day of weather I've seen in years. Cold, rainy, windy. Ugh.
Anyway, we shot a bit in the massive...
