New York State allows the sale of ground-based non-explosive fireworks to citizens. For the Fourth, some friends bought some. I shot over 250 pix. Here's a sampling:

Shot off tripod. Trees obscured part of lower sky. Had troubles with getting slo-mo to work (note to self: bring small flashlight so you can see the dials!). Need to figure how to get faster autofocus lock-on, but still, pleased with initial result.
