    A farm house

These days it's more appropriate to go places where you don't meet too many people. So no pics from city walks this time but rural pictures from a bike ride.

Around the house with the 18-55

Since I had a realization recently, which lead to a need to change my lens lineup. I have taken possession of a mint 18-55. So you get another around the house thread. On a side not. Deciding to go with a 2 prime kit for studio style portraits. With the primes based on the three locations one...

Around the house with the 23 f2 pt2

Stuck in with a heavily rainy day. Although I realize now that I missed a great opportunity to have donned the rain coat and tested the weather sealing. But there are more photos of home life.

Around the house with the 23f2

Got a 23f2 and took it for a spin around what apparently is slowly becoming a homestead.

    Stroll Erddig House & Garden

Erddig (the welsh dd is a voiced th, like in “this”), is an estate in North Wales near Wrexham. It’s been restored by the National Trust since being left to them in a semi-derelict state in the 1960s. All photos taken with my RX100m3. From the garden (yes I like symmetry!) Some flowers...

There is a new house being built on the block behind our house. I have taken a few photos at significant stages and thought I'd continue to share them from time to time in this thread. Unfortunately, I missed recording the demolition. Photos are taken with the Samyang 7.5mm fisheye lens set to...

    Female House Sparrow

The lady is probably the fat chick's mum, because you see them all the time together - big males a bigger black patch on his breast than the youngester. The ladies have none, and are more refined, if as noisy and quarrelsome as the rest.
  12. Juvenile House Sparrow

    Juvenile House Sparrow

This is the most common visitor of all: A certain over-weight male youngster of the House Sparrow clan - noisy, badmannered, and always picking on a fight!

    12 July - spooky

Trying to create a bit of a spooky atmosphere with our house. It probably would have worked a bit better if I removed the antenna but hey......... its late.
