Today I checked before I headed off. It was another beautiful day and the canal was open for skating.

A totally drab and dreary day but these guys are having a good time anyway. They're in town for a conference of First Nations (i.e. Indians and Innuit) and wanted me to take their picture. Solved my problem for the day!

A very boring picture but I didn't have the energy for anything else. The excavation was about to begin.

I hope the pigeons can read.

I liked the pastel sky and the light on the water. The local children often came and played here.

The most popular beach in town. I was trying to show the intensity of the sun in mid-afternoon and the contrast it creates.

I think the bicycle is there for the duration. In summer this is full of stands selling fruits and veggies.

This the pile at the end of the street. It will get bigger. I would be glad to send some to any who want it (if I could).

Beautiful sunny day but a little chilly.

The sun came out while I was having lunch but by the time I got organized to go out it had disappeared. So another flat light photo.
