I've seen a free download of Luminar 4 offered as a bonus with a number of purchases at B&H. This is one photo-processing suite that I know nothing about. Any opinions? These days, I tend to use the Photos app on my Mac - or Capture One if I really need to edit heavily or use raw.

Loaded up Catalina yesterday only to find that any new changes made within Photos can not be saved. Anyone else having the same problem? The problem is noted on the Luminar website.

Some time ago, I bought Luminar and am pleased with it. A couple of days ago, I downloaded the latest version -- Luminar 3.1.1 -- and it definitely boots faster ... noticeably faster, even with my ancient Dell workstation that is running Win10 with only 4 gigs memory. I'm impressed. Cheers, Jock
