Nothing really special but after the trouble figuring out how to run it :) Used the 50/1.4 AF & 20/2.8 AF-D. I will note that getting used to it's metering will take a wee bit.

Took her out today in the sunlight on the way to work with the 50 mounted to look at a couple of my usual suspects. The crop effect to a 75mm FOV was quite interesting to me.

I didn’t see a showcase for this lens, and my first outing was with it yesterday. More pics to come, but I REALLY like this lens. It needs a little tweaking in post to bring out the best in it, but that’s limited to things like vignetting and contrast, not distortion.

This lens ... is just great (for what it is). It's not the fastest, it's not the sturdiest, it's not the best Z lens - but it doesn't try to be all that, either. It's just a very good lens that does reliably well, whatever subject matter you throw at it. If only Nikon had chosen to put it into...
