Better late than never, I guess. Being that I still can't put weight on my knee after surgery and Tennessee had a doozy of a snow/ice storm, I didn't shoot a great deal in January. I did get out for a little shooting bit. Enough to pick out a few to share. Please share yours!

I put some of these in another thread, but here's my full series. Getting dark now, so not likely any more today.

We awakened to this snowscape this morning. This is an area of our patio which is deep in snow. The esoteric pictures are of a screen sliding door panel on our patio doors with the icescapes.

The feeding frenzy started early today. The first image was taken right at daybreak with the G80 + Konica AR 50mm/1.4. After that I switched to the AR 135/3.2.

Snow In The Spotlight. 0.4s f/4 ISO200 shot at 40mm. It started snowing a little bit on the 11th and there was a nice atmosphere, plus it was fairly warm compared to the week before and even now. I spent probably an hour or more outside doing long exposures. I think I enjoy the slowed down...

Snow Caked 1/250s f/5.1 ISO200 at 108mm Last night it had rained a bit then turned into snow and was still snowing a little bit when I took the shot. I took a picture of this tree on the 1st but with the snow stuck to the tree I just had to get another shot of it.

For the second day in a row I struggled to leave the house. The weather has been terrible so I have been working in the office for the first two days of the week. This is the view out our bathroom window. Snow down to 500m which is reasonably low for here.
