It was only last year that I got excited about Cherry trees and the yearly Sakura. I took this afternoon to tour many of the plants that I know of.
The sun was shining bright and high when I started my tour, which I hated, but I could tell cherries against blue is not going to look terrible. At...
Move Along Now. 25seconds f/9 ISO200 shot at 40mm.
Taken on the same night as day 30. Was really enjoying the longer exposure images. You could do these one right after the other and no 2 would look alike. I think I'm going to make a thread and post some more of the shots for the last two...
Burning Through. 0.6sec f/6.3 ISO 1600 shot at 40mm.
Messing around outside again at night, playing with trees and the moon. I had fun trying to figure out the compositions I wanted and trying to picture the next one.
Haloed. 4000s f/9 ISO200 shot at 40mm.
It was a beautiful, beautiful day yesterday. Got up to 50F I believe. So I took a walk outside as there was some really neat clouds passing by. And I mean passing by, they didn't stick around in one place too long. I noticed the sun was at the perfect...
Breaking The Sky. 1/4000s f/7.1 ISO200 Shot at 40mm.
Had very interesting cloud coverage on the 14th. And my go to tree was there to make it a neat shot. I had a hard time deciding between this one and 2 others. One almost exactly like this but a lot brighter and the other was in landscape...
In The Sunset. 1/250s f/5 ISO400 shot at 66mm 3 image stitch.
Looked like it was a pretty good sunset but I didn't have time to get out and find a place to really capture it. So I went with a silhouette of the trees.
Tangled Meets Frozen. 1/160s F/5.0 ISO400 shot at 40mm
I decided to brave the cold and go out for a quick walk around. It may have been a bit warmer but it was still really cold. I was out for only about 15 minutes. Got a few shots that I liked and this one just spoke to me with the...
Through Glass. 1/320s f/4.5 ISO200 shot at 53mm.
It was a beautiful morning sky this morning and I was expecting another cloudy day. I wish I would have been up earlier to get out and catch the sunrise. It would have been miserable though close to below zero but I think it would have been...
Snow Caked 1/250s f/5.1 ISO200 at 108mm
Last night it had rained a bit then turned into snow and was still snowing a little bit when I took the shot. I took a picture of this tree on the 1st but with the snow stuck to the tree I just had to get another shot of it.
Today I got "trapped" most of the day in the hospital (nothing serious, kids stuff). Had to work with what was at hand, found a row of waiting room chairs with an interesting shape. Here is the result.
Æ’/2.8 17.0 mm 1/250 ISO 200
First image on a cold wet day. The Freedom Tree in Missouri City Texas where in 1856 it was announced that slavery was ended. One of the largest oak trees I have ever seen.
Someone who lives near the record store loves the little birdies because on EVERY block in every direction that are multiple bird houses.
I think it's pretty cool that someone does this to encourage the birds to hang out in the city. Even when kids write funny stuff on them....this one really...
The direction, this road, goes straight ahead. The fog of the day before disappeared and a small hill can be seen at the horizon. These are merely the Dutch Mountains.
