For the last three years I've used the Leica 35mm f/2.5 Summarit as my only 35mm lens for Leica, and made dow with my Canon 6D when I needed faster primes. Last year I upgraded from the 50mm f/2 Summicron v5 to the 50mm f/1.4 Summilux ASPH, and then last week I took the (very big) plunge and sold off most of my Canon primes (I kept the nifty fifty) and my slower Leica lenses and bought my dream lens; the 35 LUX FLE in silver chrome.

Here are a few shots with it, but its early days. All shots with the M-E and M Monochrom (CCD), most of them wide open or close to it.

Great shots. I feel a similar kind of "it" quality when I've used my 35/1.4 non-FLE as a "normal" on the M8. I'm going to have to get to know it again as a 35 on my MM.

3233 (motion blurred jogger against mural showing English guards) is just *wonderful!*

Thanks Peter, I just wish I'd aimed a few degrees lower and capture his feet.
