I've been admiring the look from this lens for years, but never thought I would actually own one. Well, yesterday I picked up a very gently used 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux from Leica Store San Francisco, with warranty at a very good price. The lens is immaculate, but the previous owner didn't keep the box (who does that?).
Focus seems quite accurate on my M-D, though I'll have to wait until I get to my office to check it on the chart. If its off, I'll have camera and lens calibrated as depth of field on this thing is next to nothing.
Here are my first few images, all using the Leica M-D 262. Focus is slightly off on a few of them, most likely operator error.
