Seems like I post an album here every year... This time the 3 of us went to a camp site in northeastern Vermont instead of our quiet field site in the middle of the national forest. Every year we love the field, but we lament not trying something new. I'm glad we did this, but it's the field next year for sure. Camp sites are cool, but there's PEOPLE there. My field site is 15 miles from everything. This camp ground was also like 15 miles from Canada, which equates to one serious haul of a drive, there AND back. So we did too much saddle time, overall. It wore us out. But it was gorgeous. And I borrowed back my old XF 14 f2.8 lens from the friend who bought it from me (he's in Columbia for two weeks and didn't need it), and I used it for most of the shots. So it was a reunion, of sorts. Sucker is SHARP. So without further babbling, here's some of the scenery from this year's trip...

Ian tries out Chris's bike for size. It's MUCH smaller than his giant beemer.

After zigzagging across the state west under the Canadian border, we reached Lake Champlain.
