Same flower a day later.
Another possible combination for SIO. XT1 and 90 f2. Same shot as in the 18-55 thread.
OK, here's my first one with the 90, SOOC, I just love it.

not something exactly intended for this lens I know, but it does great.

@jyc860923 I love it when people use lenses in ways they were not "intended" for.
Thanks Bobby, I feel like whenever I get a new lens it encourages me to try everything with it, and with a great lens like the 90 I want the honeymoon to never end. I remember it took me months to stop shooting only with the Oly 40-150 2.8 ever since getting it.
And it adds value and justification to the purchase. ( :

This lens focuses pretty fast, even for dog running.
And he Nails the Dismount. Not me, this guy ate it I,m pretty sure. Did a Helicopter dismount close in. I barely caught the end of the spin.
I deleted the previous image of Princess Place because of obvious color issues. I think this is my fault for not being up to speed with C1. Colors are more true in this image but the sky is completely blown. This has no reflection on the 90 f2 which IMO is a great lens. also I did not mean to shoot this at f16 which may or may not have some play in this.
This is a little better I believe. Less editing.
i have a 90mm on loan. Which is giving me seller's remorse.
Tough FL when I owned it. Clubs don't have a lot of wiggle room for me to foot frame. In that kind of venue, the 56 is more useful to me, and brighter. I loved the 90 outside where I had maneuvering room.
Most of the places we shoot allow for either enough wiggle room, or access next to the band/musician. But the point you make is why I have to at least consider the 50-140 for stuff like this. The downside to the 50-140, aside from weight. Is the overall size and handling make it difficult to use in some of these bars. Especially if there is a good crowd. My dad used the 56 a lot for musicians performing a lot. These days he's using the x100f with the tc. But he always has access to get right next to the performers.
