Sensor cleaning is not so bad...

These shots cheer me up. We're getting a second dose of "Flu Light" this weekend. Another weekend of being indoors, sleeping, and "not eating much".

That's going around up here too, hope you get over it soon. Probably a matter of time before I get it.

I made the mistake of trying a "field clean" on the sensor: one of the air-bulb with the brush thingies. Not trying that again, there's dust everywhere on the sensor!

For cleaning, I have some FF flat-edge swabs made for the purpose. "Wipe-once, throw away." Would it make sense to get a can of compressed air to blow out the detritus beforehand? Or is that another "no-no" similar to my above error?
 
I would go with an air blower that has a filter type intake over compressed air. The latter can get very cold.

I use a big-bulb air blower, have never had a problem.
