If there’s one camera that’s never failed to impress me, it’s the Sony A7R II. There’s nothing more exciting than a high-resolution camera that can be adapted to Leica M lenses and also add in image stabilization. Those are three things you don’t normally hear in the same sentence. Since all of these features are available while shooting video—in 4K, mind you—you video shooters get to take advantage of a veritable cornucopia of classic glass options. For the serious photographers out there, I find it easy to recommend the A7R II as long as you don’t require a low-light shooter.

As an aside, be sure to carry along extra batteries as this guy is a hog, especially if you use the stabilizer. He supports this further here with examples?
