My wife and I took our dog on a road trip yesterday, exploring some of the more popular waterfalls within a few hours' drive of our home. For scale, the first waterfall is about 30 feet high, and the second over 60 feet. OM-D E-M5 + Oly 14-42 IIR.

Thought I would just add to this old posting of mine from almost 2 years ago. These are all part of a nearly 300 mile road trip around central WV Saturday morning, on yet another gorgeous day. Photos 1 & 2 are part of the same formation known as Lower Falls of Holly River. Looking to my left, I shot photo 1. Turn to my right slightly, and photo 2 is the upstream portion. About 1/2 mile upstream is Photo 3, a formation known as Shupe's Chute. You should see it at high flow! The stream coming out of the chute is Fall Run. Follow it upstream another 1/2 mile and you come to photo 4 then the bigger fall, Upper Falls. Like many waterfalls, they look more impressive at certain times of the year. The final photo, known as Falls Mill, is about 60 miles away at the head of a popular lake. X30.
