I think the answer’s probably no and that we’re reliant on you atm - I for one really appreciate it.Has anyone else on the board bought a Pixii?
Similar - I'll just say that as long as I can keep my M8 alive, there's simply no room for Pixii. But colour me very intrigued, still ...I have one in mind if I need to replace my M240 but in the meantime I really can't afford it.
Yes, you are right. I should have been clearer that I was looking for a definition comparison. And for 26MP vs 100MP I think the Pixii does well. The X2D is a much nicer pic, but the lighting is clearly superior so tough to draw any meaningful conclusions. Good detail on the Pixii though.
Unsure what f stop you were shooting the PIXII, but it appears to have at least 3 pieces of gunk on either the lens or the sensor that I’m spotting in that shot.OK, two Ionas, one with the X2D and the other with the A2572, in that order. The lighting is different. The X2D is with the XCD 55V lens and the A2572 with the Canon 35mm f/2.0 LTM (black) lens. I will try for a better "at the same tine" comparison later.

How do you think the Pixii does?

Shot at either f/4.0, most likely, or f/5.6. What pieces of gunk?Unsure what f stop you were shooting the PIXII, but it appears to have at least 3 pieces of gunk on either the lens or the sensor that I’m spotting in that shot.
