The ability to take pictures unobtrusively seems like a useful skill, so I decided to experiment with shooting with a camera cupped in the palm of my hand while wandering around the house in the early morning.
I tried it first with the Fuji XP90. A disaster . . . blurry, out of focus, mal-exposed.
Then I tried it with the OMD EM5 with the 17mm f/1.8 mounted. I cupped the rear screen in my palm and triggered the shutter with my thumb. I put the camera in P mode and composed by aiming, more or less, with my wrist.
In all, I am OK with the results.
Cheers, Jock
