E-PL2 versus a classic 35SP!
Shot with XZ-1
Make that Three, Three Olympuses
Wait, I have E-PL1
Would you believe Four no have DSLR as well!
Five, no Six, Six Oly's!!!!!

I could see myself eventually getting an E-PL2 as it addresses the only real issues I have with the E-PL1, but that probably won't be for a while yet. I'm not sure what to do with my old E-P1 now, but it certainly looks good alongside the classic Oly SPn also. I don't quite know if I could bring myself to completely retire it or (heaven forbid) sell it.

Cool pair Nic!
I would keep the E-PL1, still useable classic like like the 35SPn (I am quite jealous you have the 'n').

Do you know the difference is between the SP and the SPn? Mine isn't in fantastic condition; it has some brassing and is missing the plastic from the film advance lever, although the film advance itself has the most wonderful mechanical feel and sound to it.

I'm using the E-PL1 as my "compact" m4/3 body now over the E-P1. If I get an E-PL2 I'd sell the E-PL1, but I'm a bit more sentimental about the E-P1.

Per
Olympus SP
the 35 SPn had

Battery check with test light added between spot button and viewfinder

Black trim around Rangefinder/viewfinder windows

Black aperture ring instead of chrome

Duller matte chrome finish

Slightly larger and longer advance lever

Slightly larger film rewind lever

Congrats Lili on the E-PL2 acquisition. Personally would love a two camera set up so I could tote one with the wide zoom and t'other with the tele - and be ready for anything. The beauty with m43 is that such a set up wouldn't be all that heavy or bulky.

Agreed, Wolfie. Should I win the lottery I would get the 12mm F2 for the E-PL2 and the 48mm F1.8 for the E-PL1!

Thanks, Lili - I'd missed them elsewhere. A few days go by and I realize that I've missed quite a few pictures and posts.:( You do have beautiful cloudscapes out there, and of course a very photogenic feline, as well.:th_salute:

Nic, I never had an E-P1, but the E-P2 was/is also a beautiful looking camera and I think they're quite close. You know you love camera "porn".;) Seriously, it is a beautiful camera.
