Animals A trip to the wildlife park

It was our grandsons 2nd birthday last week so we all went to the wildlife park so he could see the animals, we had a great time despite the rain that came and went.

He walked (ran) about 4 miles in his enthusiasm to see everything and showed a great deal of interest in the animals that are so well looked after, thriving and have good enclosures.

Used the XPro2 + 100-400 and for some the X70.

Brilliant shots! I was hoping to see a tiger or some kind of big cat but that is okay
Is this like an open fields park or more of a zoo?

It is an open fields wildlife park for all but the more dangerous ones but even the lions have a nice large enclosure to wander in. The Lion enclosure was partly behind glass / fencing so not the best for photography but there are a couple of images on my site here - 571 Photography: Archies birthday

Nice! Thanks for sharing. I see the lions, wonderful shots! And I understand. The local zoo by me has all the big cats behind that plexiglas stuff so taking pictures is a pain in the butt.
