Well, it is a very particular English landscape. You would not easily find it's like in Wales or Scotland, or even much further afield than central southern England.

I would not consider it a "barren" landscape, by the way, but I was hoping to transmit a moment of stasis at the pivot of the year, which is perhaps what was being picked up
