Not steam but nuclear. It's on board the NS Savannah. Has something to do with the electrical service.

That is a sensor board. There are a number of pressure sensors, which have had the piping discontinued, and a temperature sensor.

They are hooked to electrical boxes which prolly have a converter/sender in it to communicate with a central computer.

This stuff is pretty old school.
