Check out the lower window. This kinda gave me a start the first time I was riding past and saw it out of the corner of my eye. The old building is across the trail and about 100 yards downstream from the old house in the post above.

Colonial house in Willemstad, on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. 30 years ago almost all of the houses in this historical neighbourhood looked like this or worse, now the majority of them have been lovingly restored, while something like 25% is still deteriorating. Makes for an odd vibe...

Not a dwelling this time - though I can't figure out what it's meant to be anyway. Someone tried to get at whatever's underneath (shaped wood?), but everything's sunken so far into the ground and been covered by dirt that they didn't succeed - in spite of all the apparent force they used ...
