This is a before and after of an abandoned two room schoolhouse in an Idaho ghost town. This building was actually used as a school, community hall with dances on Saturday night and then held church services on Sunday. Before photo was March 2022 and after is April 2023. We experienced a long, cold and snowy winter and the snowload on this structure, already weakened, was too much.

Great before and after shots. It's a little sad about that piece of history succumbing.

A little bit of information about Courtland and it's neighboring towns of Gleeson and Pearce, Arizona. They were mining towns in the southern end of the Dragoon Mountains and were boomtowns in the early 1900s, Pearce for gold, Gleeson and Courtland for copper. Courtland is completely abandoned while Pearce and Gleeson still have a few residents. They are connected by a good dirt road called the Arizona Ghost Town Trail which is 34 miles from one end to the other. I only stopped at Courtland.
