Manual Lens Adapted lenses and IBIS: always only three axes of stabilization?

Yes, I have found I can't be 'cavalier' with my picture taking even with the IBIS and have to practice good technique for shooting. I'm not as steady as I once was either.
 
I do believe that true 5 axis IBIS are available only to Panasonic (M4\3 and L Mount) and Olympus (M4\3), Canon, Nikon and Sony are limiting their IBIS to 3 axis on non native lenses

Not exactly. See the table at 8-stops Image Stabilisation - Canon Europe – EF lenses without IS have the body take care of x, y, roll, pitch and yaw (all five “axes”). The difference is with stabilised lenses: EF lenses take over the responsibility for pitch and yaw whereas RF lenses work in conjunction with the sensor for those as well.
