The Wilds is a safari park in Eastern Ohio. It is a great conservation facility that supplements the running of the animal care with safari like tours.

Wife and I spent an overnight there in a yurt and as part of our stay we got to go on what they call a "wildside tour". This tour is up to 6 people in the back of a modified truck so you can go off road and see the animals up close.

I took the Olympus EM1 Mark II and the Oly 75-300/4.8-6.7 II because of the IBIS needed on the bumpy ride and the 75-300 is the longest lens I currently have for any system.
Also wanted to prove that the 75-300 is really an unsung hero of a lens for the range it provides. In good light, this lens is way better than the cost of it would have you believe.

Thanks for showing everyone what this lightweight that I love so much can deliver in good daylight. Of course we never can convince all those pixel counters around. We know the limits of this lens and know for which occasions it's a good choice.

I've heard that the optics are the same, just an update to the body style and the AF motor, I believe.
