I got an XE1 w/kit zoom. It might have been a mistake, as I've never been much of a kit zoom shooter.
But, also, in research the lens, I found photozone.de, which seemed to indicate that the primes max resolution never really exceeded the kit zooms. This, I think, is a testament to the strength of the zoom. At any rate, the Fuji lenses all generally sharpen up around f/5.6.

Has anyone done their own head-to-head testing of the Fuji kit to the primes? Especially the 35, at the same apertures. Is the kit really as good as the primes, or do the primes just blow by the kit, at the same apertures?
