Mine sits in a box, I'm not sure of it's relevance currently. It's untouched because of a Nex5 and an X100, not sure whether to hang onto it as a "relic" or find a new home for it. Unfortunately it's coolness it seems has simply been eclipsed.

Use it all the time. Had both a NEX 3 and NEX 5 -- sold them both. I don't really shoot at 35mm, otherwise I'd have the X100.

Coolness is pretty much in the eye of the beholder. As Luckypenguin says, it's a nice little camera - sell it, because some beholders still think it's cool.

There still isn't a "cooler" camera for me. I look at the E-P3, and it appeals to me just like an E-P1 does.

I should rephrase, yes I agree, it's STILL quite cool, I've just got too many different cameras and it's the oldest one that I feel subsequent purchases have bettered technology wise, that's all. Sometimes I just want to clean house and have ONE camera. (right, gonna!) Too many adapters, formats, menus accessories etc. The Fuji stays, the Nex5 takes all my Nikon glass that the E-P1 used to use. I guess three's sort of a crowd right now. I really like the looks of the E-P3 and feel a bit shortchanged as an early adapter with the 1...

Mine´s actually playing second fiddle to my G2, but it is the camera that I always bring along to my (frequent) business trips. Some recent shots taken in between meetings:

Still use mine. Just bought a G1 for the vf. But I just don't find that I work well with it. I don't like the vf at all, and the button arrangement is just not as easy to use, for me any way. The G1 will probably go away, as soon as I can afford to replace it with E-p2 or 3.

Antonio-you are an artist, much like a virtuoso violinist...it's not the instrument but the inherent skill and intuition, Bravo, thanks for the palpable reminders of what the Olympus can do!
I shoot about 50 shots and am lucky if a handful are keepers...and I'm good with that, I try to surprise myself! So I guess It comes down to the camera system that brings me closer to getting what I think I'm capturing.

Great photos, Antonio - exactly what the thread needed :2thumbs:. Nic, I agree with Antonio - you know how to present the E-P1!

I know that the E-P1 tech has been eclipsed, but I am continually drawn to the look and feel of that camera.

Nic, we doin need no fancy dancin' high falutin camera porn 'round here...

Now I ain't one to spread rumors and youse didn't get this from me....
"P" mode... Ya oughtta be ashamed of yourself...

I agree. I had an E-P2 for a while, and eventually sold it because I preferred the performance of my GF1. I like my GF1, but the Pen was good to hold and great to look at. It felt like a camera, a real camera.

Is there ANY better looking digital camera than an EP1 with a nice legacy lens -- like an M or CV, or a nice Jupiter as shown. (well, OK -- let's say less than $6,000 digital camera :)
