Leica Showcase Arco 13.5cm F3.8 Tele-Colinar in LTM

Brian

Product of the Fifties
Another Sonnar formula 135mm lens in Leica Thread Mount, these were very popular in the 1950s: this one a bit more obscure. It is lighter than the Nikkor and Canon lens, slightly slower at F3.8, and uses Series VI accessories directly. This one has perfect glass, all hard-coated optics, and is optically very good. close focus is 5ft, once again took out to shoot Spring blossoms.

Wide-Open, most at minimum focus.

This lens was spot-on with the M9, no adjustment necessary. This lens is not well-known, often goes very cheap on Ebay- this one was under $40. 135mm focal length was popular "in the day", not so popular now. Well worth having.
