I see you have multiple versions of that boat shot. If you are unsure about it then imagine how difficult it must be for others. You can make the job of these curators easier by curating yourself. What really makes the photo stand out is something that is very helpful to think about. Even in the field, even before you compose and press the shutter button, identifying what really makes the scene special will guide your decisions.
