Won't be long. Buckeye trees in these parts tend to go into senescence very early. Not sure why. X-T1 + XF 18-55.

First frost last night. Not a killing hard frost, not yet. But the colors are changing and the geese form up in their Vs to head further south.

It's open easeon for moulds and slime. I don't know what this little guy is but is exactly what I want this autumn and winter to photograph. I just turned a wet leaf at random and found it so they are not hard subjects to find but can be difficult to spot. I was shouting an an aperture that I don't usually like to use (f 16 is well beyond the diffraction territory that will ruin sharp ess) but I was holding an umbrella with one hand and my entire macro setup with the other and I didn't have a lot of precision for keeping it in focus. It's not a noteworthy image in terms of IQ because of the softness but I like it still a d I absolutely love the tiny little droplets of water on each stem.

Mould growing like calcium deposits and dripping down from the side of a tiny tree branch that has fallen from the windy storms we've been having. I need to get some rainproof clothes so I can sit down in wet places if I want to get the best shots. I am so excited for this autumn but I still need to get a Platypod and a tripod head to be have a stable platform (and do focus stacking) ... I gave away my Job GorillaPod SLR Zoom last month.
