Went back to the same place a couple of weeks later. Same lens but slightly different angle and quite different post processing.

It was quite windy that day. The following picture was taken with the same shutter speed, 1/10 s. I kind of like it.

Still two persistent leaves left on that branch! This time taken during light snow fall with an Olympus 14-150mm lens with a very much smaller largest aperture, but approximately the same focal length, hence the larger depth of focus.

Our roses bloomed all the way into December last year. But in the end, they had to give up.
