Beautiful photo, Bart.
Thanks, John!Beautiful photo, Bart.
Many thanks Craig, it was the sunset that got me walking over to the other side of the plane to capture it, whereupon having seen me do this, others on my side followed me over and copied what I was doing with their phone cams. Whilst that resulted in a nice enough sunset images, I personally preferred the posted image better.Great image @rayvonn. Love how it's framed, capturing the scene inside and sunset outside. Also the golden skin tones match nicely with the beautiful sky.
And I was thinking, "WOW, a whole row to sleep in".Love how it's framed, capturing the scene inside and sunset outside....
Everyone from the half way point of the cabin backwards had a row to themselves. Free beer too. I knew something was up when they started offering upgraded business class seats for 20 bucks (even though the seats are the same size and you can't lie across). And I was thinking, "WOW, a whole row to sleep in".
Is that a Dakota, @CraigC ?
Excellent series of shots, Irene. Well caught. On our way out shopping yesterday morning, my daughter and I passed a reservoir that was being used by a fire-fighting Huey to fill its Bambi bucket
Obviously had to stop and snap a few... but all I had was a 16-50mm and a nasty barbed wire fence to contend with

This was the fire on the slopes of Signal Hill they were throwing water on

Very expert skills required to come in low over a dense urban area and hover just at the correct height to fill the bucket
